Selma Cherchali is the head of the Earth Observation Program at CNES and leads the Earth Observation department in the CNES Strategy Directorate. She is also the Principal French Delegate at the ESA Programme Board and has chaired CEOS. In her role she manages and supports science and user communities for space missions, emphasizing downstream preparatory programs. Previously she served as Earth Science Program manager at CNES and as Director of the Space Climate Observatory, contributing significantly to building this international program addressing climate change adaptation with more than 30 global partners, including space agencies and UN entities.
