Jorge Luis, originally from Colombia, is a postdoctoral researcher at Brigham Young University where he works on the statistical evaluation of the historical and forecast simulations of the GEOGLOWS ECMWF Streamflow Services global hydrological model, before and after bias correction of the results. As a visiting student researcher at CIAT he is in charge of strengthening local capabilities in the use and development of hydrological models.
