Joe Flasher is the Social Responsibility and Impact Environmental Equity Lead at Amazon Web Services, helping organizations most effectively achieve impact through the cloud. He has worked with organizations to democratize access to petabytes of environmentally critical data, including satellite imagery, climate, and weather data, and has worked with geospatial data and open source projects for the past decade as both a contributor and maintainer. He serves on the Digital Earth Africa Technical Advisory Committee and the GEOGLOWS Steering Committee, and has been a member of the Landsat Advisory Group.
